What You Can Expect from Atlantis Memorials
Our services are unique and memorable. We provide a luxury yacht ride to the desired location followed by a service where the ashes can be scattered at sea or placed in the sea in a bio-degradable urn.
Your individually planned service can include the release of cut flowers after the ash scattering. Longer cruises can accommodate hors d’oeuvres, a longer reflection time or even a full catering service. We want you to find the comfort you need to help you through this time.
What You Will Receive
Normal services will take you and the loved ones to a location along the coast to one of the landmark locations. A short memorial will be performed before one of our experienced staff will release the ashes from the bow of the yacht. The service requires 1.5 hours from the time the boat leaves from the dock to the time that it returns.
The Extended service will add time for reflection or a longer memorial. We will provide coffee and cookies during the trip. The entire service will take two hours from the time you board to the time you return to the dock.
The Scattering Cruises are the catered cruises to offer a special touch to your memorial service. These services include a lite beer and wine bar and hors d’oeuvres. It takes two and a half hours from boarding to return. Longer cruise times can also be arranged with a full catered meal.
No matter which service your family chooses, a Memorial Certificate signed by the captain will be issued with the exact coordinates of the service and the time of the scattering.
Additional Services Available
We can provide a minister to oversee the memorial. Bagpipe players can provide the right musical accompaniment to make your memorial service the send away that you desire. Spreading flowers and petals into the sea has been a long standing tradition for people associated with the water. We can provide you with rose petals or cut flowers to spread out after the burial at sea.
